This is where you should find the answer the most common questions our prospective customers might have.

How much notice do you need to make a booking?

The more notice the better, this helps us match your requirements. However we do our best to accomodate all bookings.

Are your team pet friendly?

Maid in the Hills are a pet friendly service provider. However we do ask that you advise us when booking if you have pets in your home. Whether they are indoors/outdoors, pet names etc.

Can I change the day of my regular bookings once they are locked in?

Certainly. We do ask for as much notice as possible though for any changes. This will give us the best possible chance in succeeding with the changes and providing you with the same cleaner

Will I have the same cleaner each week?

Ideally, we prefer to send the same person to perform your house cleaning service each time so they are familiar with your home, requests and circumstances.

Can I request a different cleaner?

If you are not happy or would like to change cleaners, please let us know and we will arrange for a different person to attend your home.

Can I add additional services to my clean on an adhoc basis?

Yes we would happily accomodate your requests. Please let us know in advance so we can ensure your cleaner can allocate the necessary time and products if needed.

Is everything supplied?

For once-only services, such as a window, vacate or spring cleaning services, we provide all the required cleaning equipment and materials.

For a regular service, such as a standard clean, our customers typically provide larger cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner and mop & bucket, and we provide all the cleaning supplies, such as multi-purpose cleaner, window cleaner, toilet cleaner, cleaning cloths, etc. If you need to be booked with a cleaner that carries a vacuum please make this request.

Can I request to supply the products?

Absolutely. We understand that some clients have preferences regarding cleaning products. If you wish our cleaners to use your products please ensure you have products available and that you advise us prior. Some cleaners are better assigned to some houses that have special requirements.

Do I need to be home for my clean?

It’s up to you. Many of our regular customers choose to provide us access but if you prefer to be there, that’s fine too.

Can I give you a key to my place?

Preferably we ask that you leave the key somewhere safe outside for your cleaner. There are several lock box options available from the hardware shop if needed.

Terminating Services – Are There Any Charges?

Our clients are not placed on a contract however we do ask for 7 days notice.
